Workdays/Hours**:Monday - Thursday (3:00pm - 1:30am)**

Element5 specializes in the design, fabrication and assembly of modern timber buildings. We work with solid wood, the world’s most versatile and only renewable building resource

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete repairs to billet surfaces and operate powered equipment for surface finishing.
- Maintain the facility and equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, conducting daily inspections.
- Engage in the continuous improvement process to enhance productivity and quality.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures, alerting supervisors to any concerns.
- Participate and/or lead special assignments and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
**Technical**:.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on paperwork and computer-generated drawings.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficient math skills.
- Proficiency in carpentry and woodworking tools.
- Previous forklift certification or completion of a forklift-training program is an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of woodworking experience.
- Completion of a post-secondary carpentry or woodworking program is an asset.

**Education & Experience**:

- High School Diploma required; Post-Secondary Diploma/GED or higher preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in factory work or a related field.
- Must have woodworking experience and be capable of using industrial power tools.
- Commitment to a consistent work schedule and punctual shift arrival.

**Working Conditions**:

- Physical effort includes the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Working in environments with dust and noise.

Pay: From $23.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
