Les principales responsabilités liées au poste d’assistant-gérant à temps partiel sont les suivantes:

- Aider à diriger une équipe d’employés dévoués.
- Gérer l’expérience de l’invité; s’assurer que chacun des invités qui visitent notre cinéma est satisfait et a hâte d’y revenir.
- Aider à gérer le budget du cinéma et à assurer la croissance des revenus.
- Faire des prévisions, mettre en œuvre des mesures et des projets afin de promouvoir l’entreprise et de renforcer la position de Cineplex Divertissement à titre de chef de file dans le domaine de l’exploitation de cinémas du Canada.
- Cineplex offre d’excellentes occasions de croissance; ce poste peut souvent conduire à des fonctions supérieures dans le cinéma (p. ex., directeur de cinéma à temps plein, directeur de cinéma principal, ou directeur général).

- Démontrer les compétences en communication (orale et écrite), en organisation, en gestion et en direction nécessaires pour diriger une équipe dans un cinéma.
- Posséder d’excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes et en dépannage.
- Posséder des compétences approfondies de l’informatique.
- Être en mesure de mettre en œuvre des activités novatrices et créatives liées aux ventes et aux services alimentaires.
- Accréditation liée à la manipulation des aliments considérée comme un atout
- Être au courant des lois et des règlements sur la santé, la sécurité et l'environnement qui s’appliquent à l’exploitation d’un cinéma.
- Être en mesure de travailler de façon efficace dans un milieu où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide.
- Travailler selon un horaire flexible qui comprend les soirs, les week-ends et les congés fériés.
- Être en mesure d’établir les priorités des activités multiples et de les gérer ainsi que de voir au développement des employés tout en continuant de respecter les objectifs financiers et les exigences de déclaration.
- Posséder de l’expérience antérieure de direction dans un cinéma, un restaurant, un comptoir de restauration rapide ou tout autre environnement connexe est un atout, mais ne constitue pas un critère essentiel.
