**Summary of Position/Job Description**

Our Environmental Educators will work alongside our Senior Environmental Educator and Program Manager, to implement the FAB Summer Camp program at Landon Bay.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1.) Represent the FABN at Landon Bay - a Parks Canada Property.

2.) Participate in two days of training, the first week of their contract.

3.) Demonstrate leadership and assist with campers’ needs, who are between the ages of 5-13.

4.) Assist in implementing the FAB Nature Camp program.

5.) Maintain the FAB philosophy and mandate.

6.) Provide a safe, fun experience for all campers - on land and on water.

7.) Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and litter free.

8.) Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with the camp and all program areas.

9.) Willingness to be in the water during each swim session, with their designated group.

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications** -_ Required_

1.) Must be 18 years or older.

2.) High School Diploma.

3.) Interest in working with children and in the outdoors.

4.) First Aid/CPR/AED certified.

5.) Police Record Check with the Vulnerable Sector Check (Valid within the last 6 months).

6.) Willingness to work Monday-Friday, rain or shine for their full 11 week contract

7.) Personal means of transportation to and from Landon Bay.

8.) Able to walk 5 kilometers and lift 50 pounds.

1.) Bilingual

2.) Outdoor enthusiast, naturalist, and survival skills preferred

3.) National Lifeguard Certification NLS
