Farm Worker

Langley, Canada Westcan Greenhouses Ltd. Full time

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain farm machinery, such as tractors and irrigation systems.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops.
- Use hand tools to perform various farming activities, such as weeding and pruning.
- Irrigate fields and monitor water levels to ensure proper hydration for crops.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of farm equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm and garden areas.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for tasks such as loading and unloading supplies.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working on a farm or in a similar agricultural setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of farm machinery operation and maintenance is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in farming activities.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
