**Required Skills**:

- Data Modeler or Database Designer with a strong focus on SQL databases.
- Database Management Systems: Hands-on experience with major SQL database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Data Modeling Tools: Familiarity with data modeling tools like Power Designer or similar software.
- SQL Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL with expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrated passion for staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data modeling and database technologies.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Tool Proficiency: Utilize data modeling tools such as Power Designer to visually represent database structures, relationships, and views efficiently.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize data models for improved query performance and overall system efficiency.
- Views and Stored Procedures: Develop and maintain database views and stored procedures to encapsulate complex queries and business logic, promoting reusability and data security.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of data models, relationships, and design decisions to facilitate understanding and collaboration among team members.
- Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with ETL developers to ensure seamless integration of data models with the data integration processes.
