**Key Responsibilities**: As a Fire Extinguisher Shop Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and servicing fire protection equipment. Your responsibilities include:

- **Equipment Maintenance and Specialized Services**:

- Conduct inspections, hydrostatic testing, and refilling of Dry Chemical extinguishers.
- Dispose of extinguishers as required.
- Refill CO2 extinguishers and beverage cylinders.
- Perform hydrostatic testing of fire hoses.
- Provide excellent customer service to individuals visiting the shop.
- **Inventory Management**:Receive material orders and perform accurate inventory counts.
- **Shop Organization**: Keep the shop clean, organized, and well-maintained to facilitate efficient workflow and safety.
- **Documentation and Customer Service**:Maintain meticulous and organized records of all service activities, adhering to industry standards and regulations. Provide excellent customer service to individuals visiting the shop.
- **Independent Work**: Thrive in a role that values independent work and methodical attention to detail.

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical knowledge with hand tools and a willingness to learn.
- Strong affinity for independent, methodical work.
- Computer literate (experience using Microsoft Office) and ability to easily learn other software programs.
- Capable of lifting and handling equipment, cylinders, and materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Manual dexterity and prolonged standing, squatting, bending, and twisting throughout the day.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
