Eq’Ouest stables is a growing equestrian farm in Dunrobin, Ontario, located just minutes outside of Ottawa. We provide 24 hour care and always have a Manager onsite. Eq’Ouest is proud to develop, coach, and empower riders of all ages, abilities & creeds; we are committed to providing a wholesome and empowering farm experience to anyone who trains, coaches, boards, or visits here.

Currently, we offer animal boarding, animal wellness programs, and equestrian rider coaching. We are currently in a season of massive growth, bringing in summer and youth camps and farm tours If you are someone who loves horses, the outdoors, and is a self-starter who loves to be part of an exciting project, we would love to hear from you

Position Summary:
Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Act as the first point of contact for all camp inquiries
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
- Lead the planning and organization of age-appropriate activities and programs
- Deliver activities with enthusiasm, creativity, and adaptability
- Supervise campers during various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, interacting with animals, and nature walks
- Be aware of and enforce the camp safety rules and emergency procedures
- Provide emotional support and guidance to campers, helping them navigate challenges and conflicts
- And any other general farm support activities as required
- This position required you to be cross trained and fill in for other positions as required

Qualifications:

- A Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- 2 years of experience working with children in a camp setting (required)
- Bilingual French/English (asset)

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dunrobin, ON K0A 1T0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
