Our District

Our district delivers public education to approximately 350 students in the First Nations communities of Kyuquot, Oclucje, Ehatis, and Tsaxana, as well as the rural communities of Zeballos, Tahsis, and Gold River.

Our Region

We are located on the beautiful and rugged west coast of Vancouver Island. Three of our schools are in remote rural communities accessible by logging roads and/or water taxi and include accommodations for school-based administrators. Two of our schools and the School Board Office are in the Village of Gold River, which is ninety kilometres west of Campbell River on a paved road. Our district serves a diverse community.
