We are currently recruiting for a **Treasury Analyst based at our corporate office in Burnaby, BC**. The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for providing value-added support in cash management, cash accounting & reconciliations, forecasting, foreign exchange, investments, credit facility utilization, and bank administration.

**What You'll Do**
- Daily review and reconciliation of bank transactions on ERP & Treasury Management System. Investigate and resolve discrepancies as required.
- Prepare accounting entries for cash management activities to general ledger.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Identify reconciling items and coordinate with the necessary Interfor departments to resolve.
- Conduct accurate cash forecasting by gathering and analyzing information from Interfor AR, AP, Tax, and Payroll groups.
- Analyze and determine daily funding requirements.
- Process wires for vendor payments, funding transfers, and intercompany settlements.
- Provide support and coverage to Senior Treasury Analyst in foreign exchange, investments, and debt transactions.
- Provide support and coverage for weekly Net Debt Report in order to communicate liquidity and cash forecast information to senior management.
- Communicate monthly foreign exchange rates to Finance groups and administer rates in ERP System.
- Administer and maintain Interfor issued Letters of Credit. Coordinate with Letter of Credit beneficiaries and issuing financial institutions.
- Maintain day to day banking relationships.

**What You Offer**
- Post-secondary education, preferably in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Previous treasury/accounting experience.
- Minimum two years of experience with ERP accounting systems.
- Experience with electronic banking systems and processes would be desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and perform in a high volume environment.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to coordinate and collaborate with both internal and external parties (banks and brokers).
- Team player able to work effectively in an interactive group environment.
- Ability to take initiative to analyze issues to find viable and timely solutions.
