- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the organization
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial procedures are followed
- Utilize accounting software (such as QuickBooks or Sage) to input and track financial data
- Handle payroll processing and ensure timely payment to employees

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation procedures
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts, such as debits/credits, accruals, and journal entries

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
