Industrial Painter

Meticulous attention to detail for quality finished steel coatings
- Preparing all material require for coating including washing, sanding, masking and painting
- Complete coating / painting tasks for equipment and trucks
- Application of coatings DFT to meet client and manufacturer specifications
- Use, clean and maintain paint spray systems including conventional, airless.
- Mixing appropriate coatings as per manufacturers specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Reading and understanding specifications and product data sheets
- Ability to identify hazards
- Work in a safe and conscientious manner
- Desire to learn new skills and be self-motivated
- Assist with other duties as required
- Work well with other team members, completes a visual inspection of finished work.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Requires close attention to detail
- Min. 2+ years of directly related industrial coating experience
- Familiarity with all coating equipment and completion of regular maintenance
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
- Oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task, and work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Compensation package will be offered based on experience and level of training.

Pay: $36.00-$42.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Industrial coating: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- drivers license (required)

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
