Custodian

**Job Summary**

The custodian is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective cleaning of HARD-LINE headquarters. The Custodian performs tasks such as vacuuming, dusting and disinfecting.

**Key Areas of Responsibilities and Associated Duties**
- Clean, ensuring proper disinfectant procedures are followed.
- Clean areas including visitor’s entrance, lobbies, office areas, etc.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms including toilets, sinks, mirrors and floors.
- Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed.
- Remove trash and recycling.
- Wash and buff floor, as needed.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas.
- Work with and understand several cleaning chemicals, ensuring the right products are being used for the right jobs.
- Dust all furniture and fixtures.
- Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stocked and stored in a safe and orderly manner.
- Make note of the need for any equipment repairs.
- Complete required training, including any health and safety training.
- Snow removal when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year of previous custodial/janitorial experience
- Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment would be considered an asset

**Working Conditions & Physical Demands**
- Physical ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend and crouch.
- Exposure to common chemical cleaners

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
