Groundsman / Arborist

**Job Duties**
- Control aerial device and lowering ropes.
- Supply tools for tree workers aloft.
- Control road and sidewalk traffic as needed by use of warning devices.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspections on equipment.
- Cut, chip and load brush and wood.
- Complete proper job site cleanup.
- Assist other crew members in performing job duties.
- Abide by KVS safety policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- applicants must have a valid class 5 license and reliable vehicle
- applicants must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- experience using chainsaws and brush saws would be considered an asset
- current first aid certification is considered an asset
- physically fit, positive attitude, punctual, team player

Employees of KVS are responsible for purchasing their own CSA approved steel toed boots, but all other required Personal Protective Equipment is provided.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
