**Are you ready for an amazing opportunity?** As the IT Manager, you will pioneer the establishment of a new internal department, responsible for overseeing and managing the information technology systems and services of an organization by leveraging internal and external partner resources. The IT Manager will assist with ensuring that the IT infrastructure is available, reliable, well defended against Cyber-Threats, and efficient. The IT Manager will help with ensuring that the IT Desktop Support staff are well-trained and productive. The IT Manager will assist with planning and implementation of IT projects, policies, and budgets, and liaise with other departments and external stakeholders.

**Remuneration**: $100,000 - $120,000 per year (Dependent on Experience)

**What Your Day Will Look Like**:

- Manage and supervise the IT department, including hiring, training, evaluation, and guidance of IT staff.
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and performance of the IT systems and networks, including hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT issues and provide technical support and solutions to users and clients.
- Manage and coordinate IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, integrations, and installations, and ensure their timely and cost-effective completion.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and vendors, and recommend and procure IT equipment and services.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget and expenses, and report on the IT department's performance and progress.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, regulations, and best practices, and implement IT security measures and policies.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with other departments and external stakeholders, such as vendors, consultants, and customers.

**Who You Are**:

- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT management or IT operations supervisor roles.
- Adequate knowledge and experience with IT systems and services, such as hardware, software, cloud computing, networking, and security.
- Knowledge of Automotive Retail ERP solutions such DMS, PBS, etc. preferred.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of IT Desktop Support personnel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs.
- Relevant IT certifications from likes of CompTIA or Microsoft would be preferred
