Gardener

Duties
- Perform general garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, planting, pruning/ trimming, edging garden beds, raking, shoveling & wheelbarrowing.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the garden area.
- Operate some power hand tools and equipment to maintain and enhance the garden (with training)
- Assist in the implementation of landscape/ garden projects.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete garden tasks.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in/ or ability to learn to use power tools for gardening tasks (weed trimmer)
- Knowledgeable in or able to learn landscape maintenance techniques (raking, wheelbarrowing, shoveling, edging, pruning).
- Some knowledge of flowers and plants is an asset but can be taught
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
