**Job Description**:
This is an exciting time for Kinark Child and Family Services Our Autism services are expanding, and we are looking for a Community Engagement Lead to connect children/youth with complex needs and their families, to services and supports, to help achieve better life outcomes.

Kinark has been a leader in the delivery of services to children and youth with autism and their families for over 20 years. In 2019, the provincial government began to redesign their service structure, resulting in changes to the Ontario Autism Program (OAP).

**Job Summary**:
Kinark is looking for a passionate and polished communicator to join our team as the Community Engagement Lead within Kinark’s new fee-for-service Autism services program. The Community Engagement Lead is an integral member of Kinark’s Business Development Team and will play a key role in growing Kinark’s private pay Autism program.

Kinark has introduced a benefit that gives employees in eligible roles the opportunity to work partially or fully remote if they choose to opt-in for this benefit. This role (Community Engagement Lead) is assessed as a Roamer position requiring mínimal days in the office (2 days per week) unless business demands require.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director of Growth, the Community Engagement Lead will execute the sales and revenue plan for both B2B and B2C communities. The individual will prospect to obtain new business within assigned territory and segments e.g. outreach through community boards, library, kids events etc., as well as upsell within the existing accounts, targeting and prospecting to obtain new business.

**Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:

- Be an excellent ambassador for Kinark, serving as a trusted advisor to current, new, and potential caregiver by understanding their needs, suggesting solutions and services that meet their needs, to ultimately provide access to high quality autism services.
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to facilitate intake, and when required, schedule required consultations for clients with the appropriate person.
- Articulate prices, payment options, and prepare appropriate Contracting documents for client review and completion.
- Initiate regular caregiver/ provider service calls to clients within assigned region, provide updated marketing and promotional materials emphasizing selling points of each service offering.
- Conduct timely and exceptional follow-up to nurture and grow client relationships.
- Perform client relationship management including client de-escalation as required.
- Achieve the predetermined daily, weekly, monthly and yearly client recruitment/ sales targets; seek for guidance and advice from Director, Growth when they encounter barriers/challenges.
- Input and maintain all leads information in CRM.
- Analyze client generation and new business statistics and recommend ways to increase revenue
- Source and identify speaking engagements and conferences relevant to health care professionals.

**Qualifications**:

- College or University degree/diploma in Business or relevant field.
- 5+ years of client services, customer service, or inside sales experience, preferably within healthcare or a related sector.
- Proven success growing revenues and operations within in a fee-based services environment, ideally within healthcare or a related sector.
- Experience collaborating effectively with clinicians and stakeholders, while providing excellent client experience and follow-up.
- Proven leadership, client relationship management, and customer service skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Proven sales ability with knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
- Solid planning, organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems both independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to analyze procedural gaps and develop solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with confidence and influence.
- Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.
- Self-directed, works independently; results driven/initiative.
- Solid knowledge of essential office software tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management.
- A genuine passion for this type of work and for helping children and youth with complex needs and their families to achieve better life outcomes. Familiarity with autism and/or Autism Services would be a strong asset.
