An average day in the pest control industry is never average. Wildlife technicians encounter a variety of situations keeping the day interesting and engaging. You will come across, Rodents (Rats, Squirrels, Mice and Moles), to Racoons, Birds & Insects. Visiting a variety of locations throughout the workday, you will find yourself completing service calls at Food Processing Plants, Residential Homes, Warehouses, Restaurants, Civic Facilities and more.
At each location, a Wildlife Technicians’ duties range from liaising with building managers and homeowners to inspecting for points of entry. Composing service proposals, completing wildlife exclusions, to conducting insect treatments; all while giving recommendations and sharing your knowledge. This essential service work is a rewarding experience. Everywhere you go, you can find someone who needs you.
Pest knowledge or relevant experience is not required All necessary information will be learned through our training program. Hands-on learning with various members of our management and technical staff will prepare you for this fascinating career.
**What you need to get started?**:
Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
Comfortable working at heights.
Previous roofing or general labour is preferred but not required.
Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, crouching, and working in a variety of work conditions such as outside in the elements, and indoors within crawlspaces & attics.
Strong understanding of English to ensure communication with clients through verbal discussions and written reports.
Ability to organize workday tasks with mínimal supervision.
Valid class 5 BC Driver's license - abstract required.

**Salary**: $3,500.00-$6,000.00 per month
