Engineers within Maintenance Technical Services at Hydro One Networks Inc. are engaged in a variety of challenging and exciting roles and responsibilities such as: power systems studies and planning, design and construct new transmission and distribution substations and lines, protection, control & metering system design in power system related to refurbishment and new power system installations, oversee installation and testing of new systems, or assist with the operation of the power grid.

Positions are in downtown Toronto, Barrie, Pickering, Ottawa, London, Tiverton, and Sudbury offices.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Graduate from an accredited university with degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Multiple Disciplines).
- Eligible to be a licensed & practicing Professional Engineer within the Province of Ontario (PEO).
- Valid driver’s license in Ontario.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions.
- Familiar with general engineering project life cycles and processes.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Initiative-taking, safety-conscious, cost-conscious, customer oriented, advanced time management, collaborative and able to work independently and carry the work with minimum supervision.
- Good oral and written presentation skills that ensure audience could grasp sophisticated (or simple) technical information/ideas.
- Ability to take initiative, solving complex problems with a customer orientation, adapting to changing environments, and thinking of out of box innovative solutions.
- Maintains focus to high quality work.
- Attention to details, quality driven in day-to-day, routine, or complex tasks, maintains focus to ensure high quality work.
