**Position: Recruitment Coordinator**

**Office Location: Laval, Quebec**

**Overview**:At Echelon Supply and Service, our focus is hose We are specialized in the fabrication of custom hose assemblies and kits as well as bulk distribution of hose and fittings. Since 1976, we have been striving to consistently provide insightful customer service with experienced and knowledgeable staff. As the exclusive representative of Forsaflex hydraulic and industrial products, we maintain fully stocked warehouses in 6 locations across Canada, reliably serving a wide range of industries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy for our Canadian locations.
- Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives.
- Create and post job descriptions on career websites, career boards, Linkedin, etc.
- Conduct phone, Teams and/or in-person interviews/ schedule interviews for hiring managers.
- Assist the hiring managers with recruiting methods and interview questions.
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring provincial legislation requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR files and documentation (enrolling new hires into the system, keeping track of probationary dates, enrolling employees into benefits)
- Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods and best practices.
- Attend job fairs and careers events.
- Keeping track of recruitment updates by generating reports and submit to the HR Director as required.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
- Schedule and prepare Orientation sessions for new hires and update records of new staff.
- Serve as an employee liaison: local HR presence for the office in Laval, Quebec. Escalate employee relations issues to HR Director.
- Assist with the mandatory “Pay Equity” Project in Quebec.
- Other general HR administrative related tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related.
- 2-3 years of experience in recruitment.
- Effective HR administration and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Full general understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both English and French).
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to accurately follow instructions.

**Responsabilités**:

- Concevoir et mettre en œuvre une stratégie globale de recrutement pour nos emplacements canadiens.
- Consulter les gestionnaires pour découvrir les besoins en personnel et les objectifs précis du poste.
- Créez et publiez des descriptions de poste sur des sites Web de carrières, des conseils de carrière, Linkedin, etc.
- Mener des entrevues téléphoniques, des entrevues avec des équipes et/ou en personne/planifier des entrevues pour les gestionnaires d'embauche.
- Aider les gestionnaires d'embauche avec les méthodes de recrutement et les questions d'entrevue.
- Préparer les documents relatifs aux nouveaux employés en veillant à ce que les exigences de la législation provinciale soient respectées.
- Tenir à jour des dossiers et des documents exacts et à jour sur les RH (inscrire les nouveaux employés dans le système, faire le suivi des dates d'essai, inscrire les employés aux avantages sociaux)
- Restez au courant des méthodes de recrutement et des pratiques exemplaires actuelles.
- Assistez à des salons de l'emploi et à des événements sur l'emploi.
- Assurer le suivi des mises à jour sur le recrutement en générant des rapports et en les soumettant au directeur des RESSOURCES HUMAINES au besoin.
- Aider à la préparation de la paie en fournissant des données pertinentes.
- Planifier et préparer des séances d'orientation pour les nouveaux employés et mettre à jour les dossiers des nouveaux employés.
- Servir d'agent de liaison avec les employés : présence locale des RH pour le bureau de Laval, au Québec. Transmettre les problèmes de relations avec les employés au directeur des RESSOURCES HUMAINES.
