**Position Summary**

**Hours**: Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm daily. Full/open availability is required for this fixed schedule.

**Wages**: Starting at $17.00 /hr. Hourly rate is open to negotiation based on relevant experience and skills.

**Term**: Permanent, Full time

**Essential/Core Functions**:

- Welcomes and greets visitors entering the office as a first point of contact; Uncovers client need and directs them to appropriate team members if available;
- Answers general visitor questions regarding locations of interments sites, and provides directions to visitors when applicable;
- Provides information to community stakeholders and funeral homes as needed or requested within a set time frame;
- Assists in resolving issues with clients, visitors or other parties by guiding them to the appropriate staff or resources;
- Assists with daily clerical tasks including file searches and record searches;
- Maintains organization within files, and performs data entry as directed;
- Maintains, coordinates and organizes the company schedule for interments, staff availability and whereabouts;
- Performs other duties clerical or client service duties as assigned.

**Essential / Core Competencies**
- Must be fluent in English (Oral and Written);
- Must demonstrate above average numeracy and literacy skills
- Must demonstrate above average levels of both personal and corporate professionalism in all tasks and duties;
- Must be proficient with MS Office 360 (Outlook, Word, Excel), and web searches;
- Must be able to proficiently operate a fax/copier/scanner work hub, as well as a multi line phone system and other common office equipment;
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Must regularly demonstrate above average soft skills (communication, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision making, adaptability, resourcefulness, self awareness, awareness of surroundings and of others, awareness of situations)
- Must regularly demonstrate above average customer service and client interactions
- Dess code is business or business casual.
