Location Description:
Post Consumer Brands in Cobourg, Ontario is home to more than 140 team members and produces the majority of the company's Non-GMO Project Verified and organic products. **Responsibilities**:
**Job Function**

The Maintenance Planner prime responsibility is the administration of the maintenance systems through an organized, planned and scheduled approach. This encompasses performing job estimates, ordering of parts and scheduling of corrective and preventive maintenance in coordination with the production and the efficient use of maintenance resources.

**Job Activities**
- Review request for work, input these request in to the system on a daily basis and provide appropriate feedback within 24 hours for those request not moved into work order.
- Track work orders to completion in CMMS and issue weekly progress reports (backlog).
- Develop and execute as required daily, weekly (cob previous Thursday) and shutdown work plans with input from key stakeholders
- Participate in weekly maintenance meetings, including the preparation of progress reports and plan work schedules.
- Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions and blue prints as required. Maintain the technical library and equipment history files including equipment drawings and blueprints.
- Is the site champion for the planner function with in JDE (CMMS), coordinating setting up of user accounts, access rights and leads training as needed. Lead the transition to 7i.
- Works with engineering to establish and optimize preventative maintenance programs.
- Verify and report by previous week on labour requirements for scheduling across all shifts.
- Coordinate external resources in conjunction with Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Coordinator.
- Support the development of Autonomous (operator), preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Demonstrated a strong knowledge of all maintenance and repair systems.
- Work with operators and other trades as required achieving world-class results.
- Visit job sites for clarification to maintenance request, seeks out and confers with the requester.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels based on equipment repair history.
- Other duties as assigned.
