Carpenter/foreman/woman

Oneiric Design and Build is looking for a general carpenter/Forman to join our team. There is room to grow into a Site Project Manager Position. Full Time employment for a _skilled carpenter/forman_ that likes to grow.

Job entitles doing various renovation works in residential and commercial projects

**Education, Experience and Qualifications Requirements**
- Minimum 10 years experience performing complete kitchen and bathroom renovation or related areas.
- A high school diploma and / professional Carpentry skills/college diploma is an asset.
- First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, and WHMIS certification - Preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
- Valid G driver’s license.
- ProCore proficiency
- Construction estimating expertise
- Supervising experience
- Schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of Construction management software
- Quality Control implementation
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Budgeting skills
- Build process understanding

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements**
- Be meticulous, and Thoroughly organized in their approach to work and have a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and ability to perform takeoff.
- Jack of all trades that can perform a variety of building and property construction tasks such as painting, mudding, door and frame installation, framing, drywall, hardwood and floating floor installation, etc.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Maintain a clean worksite, equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, occasional weekend as required.
- Must be able to work well in a team, but also work independently.
- Ability to present a professional image. Must be punctual and reliable.
- Occasional heavy lifting required exceeding 50lbs.
- Completion of work orders containing general carpentry tasks such as structural framing, insulation, drywall, interior door and trim, flooring and tile work & cabinetry installation
- Working within timelines while adhering to quality standards
- Operate a variety of tools to complete tasks
- Identifying issues or barriers to finishing the project on time and suggesting solutions
- Willing and able to travel within the Greater Ottawa City limits

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour. Salary will be dependent on skills and experience
