- Job Summary_

This position assists in determining proper corrective action to be taken with damaged or worn equipment based on the history of breakdowns and discussions with the operations team to determine the most cost-effective solutions. This position assists with dispatching vendors to complete necessary building and equipment repairs and Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs). This position is responsible for warehouse alterations required to support new business implementations. This position supports the Global Logistics Distribution (GLD) and UPS Healthcare (HLD) business units within UPS Supply Chain Solutions.
- Responsibilities:_

Assists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and housekeeping. Assists with identifying and scheduling necessary repairs and preventative maintenance using outside vendors to maintain the condition of the facility. Communicates assigned work status to colleagues to determine potential impact on the department's schedule.

Provides project support to BaSE Supervisor and Manager:

- Manage project schedule and budget
- Responsible for warehouse design and construction for new business implementations
- Pallet racking system design and construction
- Equipment procurement and installation
- Network cabling installation
- Electrical power installation
- This position will provide project support to the BaSE team including the following elements: estimating, feasibility, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation.
- Qualifications:_
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Engineering - Preferred_
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products_
- Proficiency in AutoCAD_
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics and simple diagrams_
