The Holiday Inn & Suites Osoyoos BC is located in the premier location on the shores of beautiful Osoyoos Lake. All rooms face the water, making it an exceptional place to stay, to play and, of course, to work.

We are Independently owned and operated, but part of the global IHG Brand family. We feature 118 lakefront rooms and suites, a marina with boat and jet-ski rentals, as well as a restaurant and lounge

Team members working on the Front Desk are the first experience our guests will have when they come to stay with us. This position would suit someone who has a background in customer service, and who truly enjoys dealing with the public, and who has an ability to work with computers. We will train the right people for this position.

Duties include answering a multiline switchboard, making guest reservations, checking guests in and out, posting charges to guest accounts, processing payments for rooms or purchases, and following hotel procedures. Guest enquiries are a large part of your day, and some familiarity with ou local area would be a great asset.

We would like to develop a team that genuinely wants to make our guests feel welcome, that their needs will be taken care of, and that we want them to have the best stay experience possible so that we can welcome them back again as repeat guests.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:
This position is best suited to someone that has at least 2 years experience in a customer service position. While previous hotel front desk experience is desirable, it is not necessary. We do require reliability. We need to know that you will be here when you are scheduled to be here.

Communications. You need to be able to communicate effectively with your coworkers, and especially with our guests.

Adaptability, resilience, and experience working with computerized systems.
