Seaview Manor is a compassionate provider of resident centered continuing care serving primarily Zone 3 of the Nova Scotia Health Authority. We are located on the scenic coast of Glace Bay, just 20 minutes from Sydney. We are committed to providing an optimal quality of life for our residents and provide individuals a full scope of programs and services through a safe, nurturing, and caring environment.

**Role Summary**

Reporting to the Manager of Dietary Services, the Dietary Aide plays a pivotal role related to the assembly and safe service of food to residents, staff, and visitors.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 1 year kitchen experience in a health care or similar environment
- Grade XII or Equivalent
- Food Handlers Course

**Performance Requirements**
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- Operate machinery (Dietary)
- Must be in good health and physically able to perform repetitive tasks, lifting, squatting, bending, standing, and walking
- Promotes and maintains positive communication and relationships among staff, residents, and the public
- Performs other related duties as required
