We are growing our team of experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists If you are passionate about improving health and assisting clients with vocational direction and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and clients, we need you.

**This is a Full Time permanent role located in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Offering a $2,500 SIGNING BONUS**

**Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day**
- Work with clients with adult-onset disabilities and support them with the impact medical restrictions have on their abilities to Return to Work in a timely and sustainable manner
- Assess an individual’s medical and rehabilitation needs and develop tailored Return to Work focused vocational rehabilitation plans and programs
- Liaise with employers and insurers to identify and facilitate return to work opportunities and plans
- Follow through on and monitor RTW plans
- Reporting and file documentation
- Demonstrated ability to easily establish rapport with clients is a must.
- Ability to work autonomously

***What you need to be successful**
- You possess an Undergraduate or Masters degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Possessing or currently pursuing one of following designations /certifications is considered an asset;
- Canadian Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CCRC) or Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CRC) from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification, or
- Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP) or Master’s Certificate, Vocational Professional (MCVP) through the College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals; or
- Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) designation through the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, or
- Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)
- You have professional competence in end-to-end rehabilitation consulting/case management, RTW planning, education, job development, and follow-up of clients.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle
- Broad knowledge of psychosocial rehabilitation
- You have knowledge of the disability insurance industry
- You understand the impact that medical restrictions have on clients’ abilities to seek and secure work.
- Knowledge of goal directed; solution focused behaviour change interventions is an asset
- You have strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong therapeutic relationships.
- You excel in a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team environment.
- You possess, comprehensive assessment and report writing skills are required.
- All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption
