Dealer Finance Group provides Floor Plan & Lease Financing for Automotive Dealerships throughout Canada. The Dealer Finance Group works closely with our TDAF Commercial Banking Centers and their automotive dealer clients to provide exceptional service to automotive dealership clients.

The Dealer Finance Group works closely with our TDAF Commercial Banking Centers and their automotive dealer clients. This team is responsible for monitoring the credit and financial risk within the portfolio.

**Job Description**:
The Analyst Dealer Credit Monitoring works as part of a team of Automotive Finance Risk Monitoring Specialists to support a portfolio of Automotive Commercial Banking customers, with a focus on the updating & monitoring of collateral availability, in order to service the client’s needs and ensure proper credit risk exposure.
- Identify risks and action / escalate accordingly
- Liaise with TDAF Analyst Commercial Banking and Commercial Banking Relationship Managers to provide them with ongoing updates and escalate any issues within existing portfolio of clients.
- Accountable for all aspects of ongoing and daily monitoring and control to ensure proper credit risk exposure, including accuracy of loan position and sufficient availability to facilitate funding requests.
- Escalate concerns/issues to management as necessary, including but not limited to unsatisfactory audits, poor financial performance metrics, and inventory issues. Provide comments as necessary for actions to be taken to resolve/mitigate the concern.
- Ensure receipt and timely analysis of all reporting for accuracy, inconsistent / unusual data
- Accurate and timely set up of customers on appropriate monitoring systems
- Liaise with Clients, Inventory Auditors, Relationship / Account Managers on any collateral issues where appropriate
- Build & maintain productive relationships with other support areas / business partners to fulfill responsibilities of role
- Support client by providing a high level of customer service through direct interaction and administrative support providing solutions & problem resolution to assist them in meeting their objectives
- Provide assistance to other departments as required including Audit and Credit

**Requirements**:

- 1 to 3 year’s previous commercial credit experience or wholesale floor plan finance experience in the automotive industry
- Education in accounting / finance key to success in this position
- Understanding of general Accounting Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement) and Key Automotive Financial ratios
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong Relationship, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team player, with an ability to work independently
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Word / Excel (Pivot Tables/Vlookup skills)
- Proficiency in CARMA a definite asset
- Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
