Our Team is assembling and testing the latest drilling equipment products, which is the beating heart of our work. We collaborate with our service delivery teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience, to develop innovative drilling tools.

**ARMO** (Assembly, Repair, Maintenance & Overhaul) **Technician Machinist **must be a team player capable of working well with mínimal supervision while following safety procedures. You will be required to improve on time of Product Delivery and sustaining projects to an acceptable level.
**As an ARMO Technician Machinist, you will be responsible for**:
- Setting up and operating special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and/or mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines.
- Operating and receiving training on special purpose equipment, conventional (lathe and/or mill), and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers for fabrication of metallic and nonmetallic parts that hold to the high-quality machine standards required within the organization.
- Reading blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Starting and observing machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting machine controls as required.
- Calculating and setting controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth.
- Entering commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
- Loading and unloading of parts into machines by using a crane to ensure successful setup for production and for logistics.
**Fuel your passion**
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Machinist trade school or equivalent training preferred.
- Be able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T).
- Be able to align / secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines.
- Demonstrate skills on at least two machines: CNC mill, CNC lathe, and NC, manual mill, brouch, drill press, rework lathe/press lathe.
- Be able to calculate/set controls to regulate machining factors i.e., speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut.
