Farm Technicians

**ABOUT THE JOB**

In the **Farm Technician** role you will report to the Farm Manager and provide support to the farm site through general husbandry for the full lifecycle of the fish from smolt intakes, to growth, to harvest. This includes feeding the fish, fish health and welfare, fish transfers and treatments, sampling, sea lice reporting, assisting with grid and net installation and repair, site maintenance, site security, fish monitoring and inspection, boat handling around the farm, and all other general farm tasks to keep the farm running successfully.

- Physical ability to complete repetitive tasks
- Respect for the need for safe working practices
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in remote locations, outside and on the water
- Able to work a two week on, two week off shift and live onsite in the company accommodations
- Able to work safely and effectively in challenging outdoor weather
- Flexible approach to working to meet the demands of the job
- Related education or experience within the industry would be considered an asset
- Marine related training certificates would be an asset
