**OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to the Team Manager of Facilities Management, the Cabinet maker will support the Facilities team by providing custom millwork solutions. This includes millwork for kitchens, bathrooms, meeting room tables. This position will also assist our team with other elements of building renovation and maintenance.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and specifications
- Build cabinets, doors, countertops, and all aspects of commercial millwork
- Prepare and fabricate wood and wood products.
- Prepare and fabricate plastic laminate components
- Millwork and other various finishing installations
- Operate various saws, sanders, fastening devices, and woodworking equipment
- Examine design drawings for conformity and provide solutions for any issues
- Build custom components, jigs, and templates as needed
- Work with various types of adhesives
- Manage workflows to meet deadlines
- Interact with other team members or stakeholders to mitigate and solve potential issues
- Train others as required
- Assist team with other elements of building renovations such as steel stud framing, drywall, paint, and flooring.

- Journeyman Designation (preferred)
- A valid driver's license with a clean abstract is required.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective listening skills.
- Proven collaboration skills that enable positive and beneficial working relationships.
- Efficient understanding and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Working knowledge of general workplace safety practices.
- Well organized and driven towards teamwork and organizational success.
