Centrifuge Technician

entry level responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot repairs of centrifuges, gear boxes, pumps and other equipment
- Perform preventative and operational maintenance using procedures such as vibration analysis, and repair or replace defective parts.
- Read and interpret drawings/manuals and precision measurement tools
- Provide technical recommendations
- Completing service reports/records
Qualifications, requirements and skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education
- Valid Drivers License
- Millwright apprentice or related trade certification is an asset
- Ability to stand, climb, bend and lift up to 50Lbs for extended periods of time
- Strong commitment to safety, and customer service
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- Self
- Motivated and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently perform the job productively under tight deadlines.
- Strong work ethic
- Located in Waterloo. Travel may be required throughout Ontario, Quebec & Eastern Provinces
