- Happy Hound Dog care Company in Nanaimo is currently seeking a fantastic dog-loving person to join our team.
- The position is full-time, and we are looking for someone who is comfortable being responsible for the dogs in their care.
- You will be working as part of a team, who already has a strong work ethic.
- Obviously, a passion for dogs is a must. You will need to have an outgoing personality and some knowledge of dog behavior.
- Initially, you will be working under the management of Happy Hound Dog care, supervising the social play of our pack of off-leash dogs.
- You will be responsible for monitoring the dogs’ activities to ensure they all play well, keeping the environment fun and positive.
- Our dogs come in all sizes and energy levels, which will require your attention.

**What will be required of you?**
- The Job is physically demanding but extremely rewarding, so you will need to be in good health as you will be on your feet for long periods.
- In addition to supervising the dogs, you will be responsible for maintaining the doggy day care facility, this will include cleaning, cleaning up after the dogs, laundry, sweeping, mopping, and washing down the walls. Our dogs go outside all year round, so you will need to be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- We offer a training program, giving you the skills to book appointments, communicate with human customers, and handling monies.
- Ideally, you need to have a great customer care attitude.
- A flexible schedule is positive along with the availability to work Saturdays.

**Salary**: $17.25-$18.00 per hour
