_**Registered Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants - Job Description**_
- **We are currently seeking Registered Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants for our childcare.**_

- _**Develop and implement childcare programs that support and promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.**_
- _**Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and providing opportunities to express creativity.**_
- _**Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.**_
- _**Make daily observations and observe children for signs of potential learning.**_
- _**Knowledge of Early Years Act**_
- _**Knowledge of Emergent Curriculum**_
- _**Knowledge of E.L.E.C.T**_
- _**Knowledge of licensing regulations**_
- _**Establish guidelines for behaviour.**_
- _**Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, safety, and well-being of children.**_
- _**Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.**_
- _**Assess the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discuss progress or concerns with parents and other staff members.**_
- **Job Types: Full-time, Part-time**_
- **Part-time hours: 25 - 40 hours per week**_
- **Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour**_
