Our bright and spacious studio is located in centrally located Mount Pleasant and a large portion of our staff bike, take transit or walk to work. We have locally grown organic food delivered every week for our team and through our growing recycling and composting program, we are on our way to becoming a zero-waste company.

Shipping Assistant

Studio hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday. This is a full-time, hourly position.
- Please note that this position does _**_not_**_ operate in a warehouse/shipping yard environment._

**Responsibilities**:

- Order prep, packing, and shipping via UPS, Canada Post, DHL, FedEx etc.
- Oversee UPS pickups and drop-offs
- Using shipping platforms (Shipstation) to facilitate picking/packing and update orders as needed
- Administrative dealings with our shipping carriers (address changes, claims, exceptions, late deliveries and refunds from late deliveries)
- Final checking and packing of orders
- Communicating closely with other departments to optimize workflow and solve problems as they arise.
- Optimizing organization and efficiency of workstations in Shipping department
- Other related duties as assigned

**Skills and Assets**:

- Shipping experience is preferred
- Experience with Shipstation & Shopify ideal
- Pays close attention to the details, and thrives under pressure
- Has the ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Administrative, management and/or logistics experience would be a strong advantage
