**Test Technician Overview**:
This position is responsible for testing and inspection of the product to ensure that all quality standards have been met as per Cam Tran and CSA policies and regulations.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Routine test of product to ensure it meets all Cam Tran, CSA and customer specifications.
Perform design type tests as required.
Assists in trouble shooting failures.
Informs the line operators on quality control issues as necessary.
Adheres to Cam Tran safety policies and procedures.
Prepared required paperwork on a timely basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Leader

**Education and Experience**:
Electrical Engineering Technician Diploma or relevant experience considered an asset.
Knowledge of the product and plant operations.
Knowledge of ISO 9000 series standards.
Knowledge of regulatory (IEEE/ANSI & CSA Standards) and customer specifications.

**Skills**:
Ability to communicate with and provide direction effectively to the line operators.
Ability to read wiring diagrams.
Must be well organized and able to make independent judgments.
Must be able to work in a team environment.

**Measures of Performance**:
Quality of the line output.
Effectiveness in preparing the required quality reports.
