**General Purpose**:
Responsible for managing marketing programs and activities to meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives, work closely with the marketing design team, and interface with clients.
**Principle Accountabilities**:
- Leads the marketing department
- Responsible to establish the medium and long-range planning process.
- In charge of budgeting and planning processes and monthly reforecasting.
- Directs marketing strategy on positioning, market penetration and pricing.
- Develops, communicates, and implements the strategic direction of the marketing (sub-function) operation.
- Responsible for optimizing business marketing strategies and increasing share and competitiveness
- Identifying trends, insights, optimizing digital marketing activities in line with learnings to improve performance.
- Regularly leads important corporate initiatives.
- Has accountability for the function and provides high level of advice and recommendations to the Corporate Executive.
**Secondary Accountabilities**:
- Create and develop effective campaigns including collaterals such as brochures, posters, backdrops, flyers, signages, e-newsletters, corporate visual branding initiatives, digital presentations, and creative designs for web-related projects and apps.
- Research and create proposals for strategies and goals
- Continuously improve brand and creative assets
- Hold up and/or manage end to end project tasks
- Work cross-functionally and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
**Marketing Manager Qualifications/Desired Skills**:
- Understanding of the lifecycle of marketing projects
- Experience leading multiple marketing projects at once
- Strong communicator
- Adobe In-Design
- Excel
- MS-Office Suite
- PowerPoint
- Marketing demand generation best practices and systems
- Experience with performance management
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business MBA, Communications, Education, Management, Business/Administration, Advertising, Engineering, and Science
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week
**Salary**: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
**Experience**:
- Project management: 1 year (preferred)
- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in VICTORIA, BC
