Housekeeping Room Inspector

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Part time housekeeping room inspector to join our team.

Duties will include and are not limited to:

- Inspect guest rooms and public areas after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.
- Run various housekeeping reports, verify room status, prioritize room cleaning and update status of check out and stay over rooms on ONQ PMS.
- Prepare, distribute and communicate changes in room assignments.
- Assist the housekeeping manager in weekly/ monthly duties such as inventory and logging in lost and found items.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Document and resolve staff and guest concerns with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Develop and maintain a positive working relation with coworkers and other employees
- Move, lift and carry objects equal to or less than 55 pounds without assistance
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

**Skills**:

- Previous housekeeping supervisor experience is an asset
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
