**Position Overview**:
As an **Owner-Operator for Package Delivery** with MP group, you will manage and operate your own vehicle to deliver packages to residential and business customers. You will be a key part of our delivery network, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while providing outstanding customer service. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule and earnings, with the backing of Intelcom's established operations and technology.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Package Pickup and Delivery**:

- Pickup packages from designated Intelcom facilities or partner hubs and deliver to residential and business addresses within your assigned route.
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries according to specified timelines and customer preferences.
- **Customer Service**:

- Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries.
- Address any delivery-related issues promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Provide solutions for any special delivery requests or challenges that may arise.
- **Vehicle Management**:

- Operate your own vehicle (truck, van, or cargo van) in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and upkeep of your vehicle to ensure it meets Intelcom’s standards for safety and presentation.
- Regularly inspect the vehicle for any maintenance or repair needs and ensure compliance with all local and federal transportation regulations.
- **Routing and Navigation**:

- Use Intelcom's routing and navigation software (or your own GPS tools) to optimize delivery routes and ensure the most efficient delivery times.
- Be prepared to adapt to changes in delivery routes due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- **Delivery Documentation**:

- Accurately log deliveries and obtain necessary customer signatures using Intelcom’s mobile app or other required systems.
- Maintain proper records of all deliveries, including any issues or damages encountered during transit.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Adhere to all safety regulations, including traffic laws, road safety rules, and Intelcom’s operational procedures.
- Ensure packages are handled with care to avoid damage and are delivered securely.
- Comply with all health and safety protocols, especially in terms of handling packages and interacting with customers.
- **Reporting and Communication**:

- Provide regular updates to Intelcom’s dispatch or support team regarding any delays, issues, or significant concerns encountered during the day.
- Maintain clear communication with your assigned dispatcher or team regarding package volumes, route changes, and any customer issues.
- **Adherence to Operational Policies**:

- Follow Intelcom's operational standards and guidelines for package handling, delivery procedures, and customer service.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects Intelcom’s brand image.

**Qualifications**:

- **Ownership of a Suitable Vehicle**:

- You must own or lease a vehicle suitable for delivering packages (van, cargo van, or small truck). Vehicle must be able to accommodate packages of various sizes and weights.
- Vehicle must be in good condition, meet safety and operational standards, and be insured for commercial use.
- **Experience**:

- Prior experience in delivery, transportation, or logistics is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with route optimization, GPS navigation, and customer service is an asset.
- **Licensing & Insurance**:

- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Commercial vehicle insurance with appropriate coverage for delivery operations (Intelcom may provide guidance on insurance requirements).
- **Physical Fitness**:

- Must be able to lift and carry packages (up to 50 lbs or as per vehicle capacity) and perform physical tasks such as loading, unloading, and carrying packages.
- **Technology Skills**:

- Comfortable using mobile apps, GPS devices, and basic technology for route planning, communication, and delivery tracking.
- **Strong Communication Skills**:

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and Intelcom’s dispatch teams.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**:

- Ability to handle unexpected challenges such as missed deliveries, damaged packages, or customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
