The Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF) is a national, not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to conserving Canada's wildlife and habitats for the use and enjoyment of all. By spreading knowledge of human impacts on wildlife and ecosystems, carrying out conservation actions to protect and restore species and habitats, developing and delivering conservation education programs, advocating for changes to government policy and programs, and co-operating with like-minded partners, CWF encourages a future in which Canadians can live in harmony with nature.

**Job Duties**
**_Front Desk Management:_**
- Greet visitors, clients, and employees with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls, transfer calls to appropriate individuals, and take accurate messages when necessary.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
**_ Visitor Assistance:_**
- _ Register guests and provide them with visitor badges._
- Assist visitors with inquiries and provide directions as needed.
- Notify employees of visitor arrivals promptly.
**_ Administrative Support:_**
- _ Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, scanning, and filing._
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Update constituent information and maintain integrity and accuracy by following set procedures.
**_ Communication:_**
- _ Communicate effectively with internal staff and external stakeholders._
- Relay important messages and updates to the appropriate parties.
**_ Security and Access Control:_**
- _ Ensure the security of the premises by monitoring access control systems._
- Follow established security protocols for visitor sign-in and access.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
**_ Ad Hoc Support:_**
- _ Provide administrative support to various departments as required._
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
**Experience and Education**
- _ High school diploma or equivalent._
- Previous experience of three years or more in a receptionist or administrative role is a plus.
- Fluent in English and French (Verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a donor-focused mindset.
**Work Conditions**
- _ Permanent, full-time at 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday._
- Based at CWF’s Head Office in Ottawa, ON, in-office 5 days per week.
