About You:

- You love social media as in you know the latest social media trends, best practices and tools.
- You understand which platform hosts which audience and how to optimize content and tone to curate a positive experience.
- You know how to write clear, concise, and compelling content that will engage a reader in our brand voice.
- You are up-to-date with trending news/posts and know how to model them to create fresh content.
- You are self-motivated and a self-starter.
- You are analytical and constantly measuring campaign success and looking for opportunities to optimize.
- You are a communication wizard.
- You are extremely organized.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute social media strategy to build the company's brand and reputation, and grow a community of loyal followers through competitive research and benchmarking.
- Manage social media campaigns and presence in social networking sites including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more for a business management and operations company.
- Understand the target audience to create buzzworthy, relevant and timely content including texts, pictures and video that supports the company's goals and brand guidelines.
- Generate, edit, schedule and publish content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community growth and engagement.
- Create comprehensive reports of content performance with recommendations to shape future campaigns.
- Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications.

Skills & Experience:

- 2+ years of relevant social media and digital marketing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media or a related field

**Requirements**:

- Expert knowledge of Canva, Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Word)
- Experience creating graphic designs with mínimal supervision.
- Experience writing and editing online content.
- Experience with digital and social media platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin and other digital communities.
- Exceptional project coordination skills, specifically as they relate to communications planning (digital media).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and extremely resourceful.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Proficient in using scheduling posts on HootSuite or Later or Canva.
- Ability to monitor social media analytics.

Asset to Have:

- Experience editing with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience in creating and monitoring social media paid campaigns
- Experience updating website content on Squarespace or WordPress
- Knows how to edit videos in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Agency experience

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
