**Position**:

- Project Database Administrator, Vancouver**Location and Reporting Structure**:
Reporting to the International Database Manager, this position is a fixed term appointment until end of December 2024. It is based in Vancouver head office with frequent travel to site at Nunavut.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate, review and implement specialized database projects and studies;
- Work with project and corporate staff to review, modify, and manage current drill-hole/geological and assay data handling protocols/procedures, initially for the Back River project;
- Develop, implement, maintain, optimize and administer a suitable database;
- Assist with compilation and /or incorporation of existing data into the database, including database validation, analysis and documentation;
- Ongoing review and monthly reporting on assay QAQC;
- Prepare and edit comprehensive reports, and supervise their compilation for internal and/or external use;
- Develop, with guidance from corporate staff, and maintain information distribution procedures including generating exports for drill-hole modeling purposes;
- Train other staff in various aspects of data handling/database management as appropriate;
- Participate in field programs at both a regional and property scale, as required; and
- Other duties as set out by the Company.

**Competencies and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or certification in Information Technology / computer programming.
- Experience working in Exploration and/or Resource Geology data management with companies that operate in challenging jurisdictions considered as strong asset.
- Knowledge of mineral exploration workflows (field sampling/mapping, drilling, logging, drafting, laboratory analysis, QAQC, etc.).
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a Database Administrator or similar role, with relevant drill-hole database management experience.
- Proven experience in database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data security.
- Experience with cloud-based database services is an asset and Knowledge of mineral resource/reserves reporting standards such as NI43-101.
