**Job description**

Vaughan Paving Ltd. is currently looking for Concrete Cement Finishers, Formers, Labourers

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Direct placement of concrete into forms or surfaces
- Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools to cure surface
- Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers and straightedge
- Resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete forms and cut control joints
- Finish concrete applied by slip form method and smaller hand formed pieces
- Help place and remove forms
- Assist in any and all steps involved in the concrete placement process, from start to finish

**Qualifications**:

- Speak English
- Finishers - minimum 2 years of daily concrete finishing experience. Focus on curb & sidewalk is considered an asset.
- Formers
- minimum 2 years of daily forming experience
- Overall positive and professional attitude working within a team environment
- Will need to provide training records or be willing to get required training (Working at Heights, WHMIS, Worker 4 Step Awareness)
- 6am-6pm Monday to Friday with Saturday work when required.

**Job Type**: Full-time employment

**Benefits**:Eligibility to join Local Union 183 once a predetermined time period has passed and worker has shown to be a professional in the trade.
