At LLC Child Care centre, we offer a range of care options to meet the needs of families. Parents can choose from full-time, part-time, or drop-in care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. Our activities and lesson plans are designed to be developmentally appropriate, supporting the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children at different ages. We also offer outdoor play and nature-based learning opportunities, as well as art, music, and movement classes.

Job Title: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Professional

Summary: LLC Child Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Education (ECE) Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children in a daycare or preschool setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans to promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of children, including activities such as circle time, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and snack time
- Supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety and well-being, including monitoring children during play and ensuring that the classroom and playground are safe and free of hazards
- Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress and any concerns or needs, including providing daily reports or updates and participating in parent-teacher conferences
- Collaborate with other ECE professionals to create a positive and nurturing learning environment, including sharing ideas and resources and working as a team to plan and implement activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, including cleaning and sanitizing materials and surfaces and organizing materials and supplies
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards, including completing any required training or continuing education

**Requirements**:

- Level 1, Level 2 or level 3 ECE certification
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Physical ability to lift and carry children, as needed.
- Valid First AID Certification
- Recent Vulnerable Sector/Police/ Intervention Check

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
