**Business Planner Contract End date October 31, 2024**

Job Location: Nanticoke, Ontario onsite

Reports to**:Manager - Business Planning**

**Job Overview**
- Safety is the Core Value of Stelco and the individual will make Safety their first priority in the execution of all work activities, including monitoring contractor/vendor safety in support of work efforts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create schedules for all the Hamilton & Nanticoke production facilities to maximize production and meet Customer deliveries.
- The Scheduler-Expeditor will be on-call with the responsibilities to support the mill during the off hour which could be evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Complete scheduling systems audit reports to ensure orders and inventory are in good standing within the systems.
- Expedite coils to a ready state on the ship floor.
- Communicate with other Departments regarding schedule timing, steel flow and on-time delivery.
- Manage Customer Order changes, cancellations, re-rolls to ensure on-line information is accurate and to evaluate if inventory meets Customer needs.
- Complete various reports and assignments as needs to meet the needs of the business.

**Job Qualifications**
- Participation in a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Communications, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.

**Job Skills and Knowledge**
- Excellent planning, organization, communications and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy to a working skills level - proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
