Previous retail Canada Post experience preferred.

**Must be available to work all hours that the store is open**:

- Monday (9:30 am - 6:00 pm)
- Tuesday (9:30 am - 6:00 pm)
- Wednesday (9:30 am - 6:00 pm)
- Thursday (9:30 am - 7:00 pm)
- Friday (9:30 am - 7:00 pm)
- Saturdays (9:30am - 6pm)
- Sundays (12-6pm)

**Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following**:

- Customer Service, cash handling, receiving and stocking
- Organizing packages and inventory with limited space
- Inventory management and monthly counts
- Assisting in the front store as needed
- Provide superior customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to Canada Post Guidelines.
- Operate a computer point of sales (POS) system.
- Ensure proper processing of mail and financial transactions including cash, money orders, stamps and registered mail/parcel service.
- Process financial transactions and ensure accurate daily balancing.
- Review mail items for address accuracy, proper postage, etc.
- Answer inquiries and resolve complaints regarding the postal service.
- Previous experience in a postal environment is an asset.
- Must have strong math skills, basic computer skills.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Work well in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated high level of communication, interpersonal & conflict resolution skills
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and handle up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to follow established company policies
- Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written
- **Willingness and availability to work a variety of shifts, including: Mornings, Afternoons & Weekends**:

- **25-32 hours/week**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From $15.65 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
