**OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to the Director, HR, you will be responsible for development of our hiring strategies - helping to identify who we should hire, when we should hire them and why. As a strategic partner, you will interpret the needs of front-line managers and our customers for business success. You will partner with the HR team to ensure profitability, effective utilization and qualification requirements are being met through talent acquisition and development.

**Specific Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a resourcing strategy. Forecast near and long-term requirements, including types of skills that will be needed and potential sources for a talent pipeline.
- Analyze and interpret current and projected work including future competition for key positions within the business.
- Succession planning for critical roles and long-term sustainability.
- Track business operations and market trends to provide strategic advice to decision-makers.
- Research and suggest programs and technologies that help to automate workforce analytics and data for easy access and valuable KPI’s.
- Identify and aid in development of training programs for employees.
- Consult on best practices around total compensation and employee engagement.
- Work with business leaders to ensure optimal utilization of resources including reassignment of employees.
- Propose staffing budgets and ROI during annual operating plan development.
- Create actionable reporting, highlighting trends and issues seen in turnover, retention statistics and recommendations/strategies being implemented to reduce overall turnover result.
- Oversee the planning, utilization, recruiting forecasts, performance analysis, and key business initiatives.
- Promote operational effectiveness and positive customer experience through assisting in hiring critical talent within customer vicinity.
- Identify and prioritize operational risks with relation to achieving targeted service levels.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Experience**:

- 3+ years’ experience in workforce management, business analysis and/or continuous improvement.
- Experience in a matrixed organization is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with reporting analytics softwares such as Microsoft Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and similar
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

**Education**:

- A post-secondary degree or diploma
