Collingwood, Canada Living Water Resorts Full time

**Greeter Job Description**:
The role of the greeter is to welcome guests to Cranberry Golf Course facility including those with tee times, bookings for the range and swimming pool, bike rental and restaurant patrons. The greeter works with the starter, back shop, marshal and pro shop to ensure the effective check in of golfers, the smooth transition to the tee box, the availability of carts and other duties that may arise.

**Morning Shift**:
- Log in start time and have starter help bring out the canopy if necessary.-
- Start sanitizing the golf carts as they are brought down by the back shop.-
- Approximately 20 minutes after opening of pro shop check in for Covid screening, obtain tee sheets, range bookings and radio.-
- Continue to sanitize carts.-
- When golfers arrive at bag drop, confirm tee times, and determine if they are members or public. Members do not need to check in with pro shop. If not members, confirm if they have paid on line or need to pay at the pro shop.-
- Golfers must bring golf clubs to bag drop. Carts can only be taken to parking lot after golfing.-
- All golfers, including those with range bookings, MUST follow the dress code.-
- If they have a range booking, determine if they have a range pass or need to pay at pro shop. You may need to get the balls out from the back shop. Bookings for the range do not have carts assigned unless they have a later tee time. Rickshaws are available.-
- If golfers arrive more than 30 minutes before their tee time, have them leave their bags on the grassed area and wait in the parking.-
- Assign carts and record cart numbers on tee sheet, ideally keeping players for each tee time in one row for easy transition to starter. Ideally only the first two rows should be assigned.-
- If the golfer is not a member, ask if they have golfed here before. If new to the course, the greeter can provide information about the course including brief layout, location of washrooms and water stations, beverage cart and availability of food and beverage at the Station on the Green and/or Pro Shop.-
- Those with swimming pool bookings and bike rentals need to check in at the Pro Shop. Bikes and tennis equipment are kept in back shop and given out by back shop, greeter or starter.-
- Keep the Starter and Pro Shop updated on the arrival of golfers as needed. You may need to work with the starter to juggle tee times for no shows, cancels or late comers.-
- Ensure golf carts are replaced in the first three rows, typically four per row.-
- If necessary, ask that additional carts be brought down from barn.-
- Assist the back shop in sanitizing golf carts as golfers bring them back to the cart return. Keep the tee sheet updated with cancellations and additions from Pro Shop. Return radio and log out.**Afternoon Shift**:
- Log in start time and Check in at Pro shop for Covid screening, obtain updated tee sheets and radio. Get updates from morning greeter.-
- Continue to check in golfers and direct other members of public as necessary.-
- Continue to keep replacing golf carts and assist with sanitizing at cart return.-
- Continue to keep starter and Pro Shop updated.-
- Late afternoon determine how many carts are required for the remainder of the day as the back shop will need to start putting trains together to return carts to the barn.-
- Advise golfers when carts need to be returned.-
- Assist back shop in cleaning out carts and assembling trains until the end of your shift. Your shift does not end after the last tee time.-
- Return canopy to back shop, turn in radio and tee sheets and log out of system.
