Winnipeg, Canada K-Hart Industries Ltd. Full time

K-Hart Industries designs and manufactures equipment for agricultural producers focused on conservation agriculture. We are currently looking for an Accounting Clerk to work at our brand-new facility located at 16 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Managing and processing semi-monthly payroll for < 50 staff (hourly, salary) using a payroll service provider
- Ensuring government payroll remittances are issued.
- Being primary go-to for payroll submission, employee-payroll related questions and issues, T4 creation and distribution.
- Assisting in the migration of accounting processes and data from Quickbooks to new ERP system.
- Accurately recording day to day statistical, financial and accounting transactions in company ERP system.
- Accurately recording customer invoices, employee expenses and supplier invoices, and ensuring supplier payments are made on time.
- Working with accounting team and external accountants to assist in preparing required financial statements at month and year-end.
- Preparing and maintaining other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Performing partial checks of the posting of journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements and conducting in depth researching for reconciling discrepancies.
- Learning and continuously updating new skills with regards to payroll and ERP software

**Qualifications include**:

- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience (3 years minimum) in accounting/bookkeeping/payroll duties
- Completion of Fundamentals of Payroll course
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Working experience with processing payroll
- Working experience with Quickbooks and/or accounting software (3 years preferred)
- Working experience with ODOO ERP Software is an asset but not necessary

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
