Overview
Acts as receptionist and performs clerical duties including data entry in Ansos and maintains statistical information for patient care delivery in Complex Continuing Care & Rehab. Relates to patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner and interacts collaboratively with the interdisciplinary staff to provide patient centred care.
Education
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent educational preparation
- Training related to office administration/office coordinator
**Qualifications**:
- 2 years of relevant recent experience working as a unit clerk
- Knowledge of medical terminology required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written
- Computer literacy required; demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent keyboarding skills
- Skill in use of Powerchart, Ansos, SAP/SRM
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and discretion in matters related to patients, staff, and hospital affairs
- Able to work independently as well as work in a teamenvironment
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills
- Good work and attendance record required.
