Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our shop. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to operate forklifts and perform heavy lifting, and effective communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts to move and organize inventory within the shop
- Assist with commercial driving tasks, such as delivering products to customers or picking up supplies
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with moving and organizing merchandise in the warehouse
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to load and unload products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and warehouse areas

Qualifications:

- Forklift certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving tasks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving objects
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
